Swedish Dishcloth Review

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BW2VC556?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

I found these Swedish dishcloths on Amazon and decided to try them out because they are better for the environment than paper towels and they would help me save money because I wouldn't have to buy as many paper towels. The ones I bought were $16.95 for a pack of twelve. They are made of cellulose and cotton, making them kind of like a paper towel and kind of like a dish cloth. One Swedish dishcloth is supposed to replace up to twenty rolls of paper towels and can be washed up to fifty times. The package says they can be washed in the washing machine, dishwasher, or microwave, but I plan to only wash them in the washing machine. They do need to be wet to use and can be used with cleaners. There are two different patterns, one on each side of the cloth, so you can use whichever side you feel works better. They can be used to clean dishes and various wipeable surfaces around the house.

Likes and Dislikes

What I like about them is that they are more durable than a paper towel, meaning they will obviously last longer than a paper towel and they don't tear as easily as a paper towel when you are trying to scrub off some stuck-on gunk. I also like that they are not as heavy as dishcloths. Sometimes wet dishcloths can become heavy and floppy, making them annoying to use, but I found these to be very light. Another thing I like is that they were easy to rinse off in the sink. Being that they are reusable they will reduce the amount of paper towels I will use which will be beneficial to the environment and my bank account. It was pretty easy to scrub things off and I would compare them to the cleaning ability of a dishcloth. If I did have a dislike, it would be that they cost an extra dollar if you want them to all be the same color.

Summary

Overall, I really liked these Swedish dishcloths. I really wasn't sure whether I would like them or not because I like the convenience of wiping something down and discarding the paper towel, though it does make me feel wasteful. I also have disliked washcloths because it seems sometimes you wipe something down and then all the grossness is on the dishcloth and it can be a struggle to truly rinse off all the loose gunk. With these, I found it was super easy to rinse everything off and I could use the same one over and over again without feeling like it was getting gross (I can be pretty picky about things being gross). I really don't have any complaints about the product itself and am looking forward to using them more, while cutting back on my paper towel use. So far, I would say I highly recommend!
